ESO MALFLOR (b.1994) is a first-generation Mexican-Norwegian-American artist from Houston, Texas, now based in Chicago IL and Kjerringøy, Norway.

ESO MALFLOR is a conceptual artist working across drawing, painting, sculpture, video, photography, installation, and performance. They create in an effort to collapse the space in between what we regard as ‘human nature’ and ‘nature.’ Their work is in the collections of the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis Institute of Art, and private collections across the US. Upcoming is their debut chapbook of poems and drawings, set to be published by Echo Thread Projects in November 2025, along with a featured three-person exhibition at Fotografiens Hus in Oslo, Norway, in summer 2026.
